Ladies' Handkerchiefs

Recently I have been thinking about handkerchiefs and how they could feature in a new art project. These pretty ones were from a vintage shop in Liverpool, they are from the 1940s and are unused in their original box. The pins that have kept them neatly folded since the day they were boxed have left delicate rust marks on the cotton fabric.
